These could be Samsung’s final US Galaxy S22 5G or Tab S8 series price.
Yes, we are still at minimum a month away The ultra-high-end smartphones are now available for purchase. Samsung fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the date for the next Unpacked event.
This latest S22 series pricing speculation is also accompanied by similar US predictions for the long overdue Galaxy Tab S8 lineup, which may/may not be unveiled in the middle of next month.
All three S22 models will be more expensive than their predecessors
Let’s first put the numbers in context and compare them with some of our competition. Next, let’s highlight exactly what to expect from 5G-enabled. Galaxy S22 family in the US
- S22 – $899
- S22 Plus – $1099
- S22 Ultra – $1299
Let’s now get to the bottom of the matter. Yes, that’s $100 more per person than Samsung originally charged us for the S21 5G Series stateside. It doesn’t look like the future, so it’s not. As many rumormongers have predicted, S22 Ultra buyers will not be paying a premium.
This is how the Galaxy S22 should look (more or less).
Instead, the S22+ and regular Galaxy S22 are expected to cost $100 more than the S21+ or S21+. We are talking about entry-level configurations. If recent rumors are correct, the S22 Plus and S22 Plus will both come with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, just like their predecessors.
The $1299 S22 Ultra5G will, however, likely pair 12 gigs worth of memory with 256 gigs local digital hoarding space. This would make it a very attractive option, at least partially, for the otherwise prohibitive price. A The deal could be sealed with an included S Pen at no extra cost, especially for younger customers. Samsung’s Galaxy Note series nostalgics make it difficult to understand and justify Samsung’s S22+ or S22+ intentions.
The 6.1-inch Galaxy S22 5G, or so, would cost $899. This is $100 more than Apple’s iPhone 13 5G, and $100 less than the iPhone 13 Pro. This doesn’t sound like a favorable situation for Samsung. The S22+, S22 Ultra, and 13 Pro Max starting prices could be higher than the S22+ and S22 Ultra respectively, which would create the ideal environment for Apple to continue its growth. Breaking records
Unsurprisingly, the Galaxy Tab S8 series is also expensive
Although the exact Tab S8+, S8+ and S8 Ultra numbers are not expected to be revealed until “soon”, we know a lot about the trio of super-premium Android slates.
This is the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.
The base model is expected to start at “under $850” but, if that number is not mentioned, it is safe to assume that the MSRP won’t be much lower than… 850 dollars. We expect the Galaxy Tab S8 to be priced at $800 in its entry-level version, which is not a great deal compared to the Tab S7’s $650+.
The Tab S8+ will likely increase its $850 US starting price to between $900- $1000. The all-new Tab 8 Ultra will likely cost you at least $1100 when it goes on sale in the US.
All three tablets are guaranteed to have the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor as the Galaxy S22. However, given the Wi-Fi-only pricing, we don’t think it is worth considering how much optional connectivity might cost.
